The chosen venue is located in the Bario de Justicia, on Calle Fernando VI, 10.

It was built in 1840, as an exhibition of carriages and offices. In 1902 the first reform was carried out in which the workshops were expanded.
To carry out this project, the central nave and the upper floors on the right were used , reaching a total of 819.79 m2.
In the same neighborhood we can find several places of sociocultural interest, such as theaters, museums, palaces...
Inspiration
The idea of the project is to get users out of the jungle of the city, where everyone is in a hurry and nobody has time for anything. And transport them to that quiet place where one can be calm and feel free. In short, the aim is to transport customers to nature through smells, colors and sensations.
The user who accesses this sociocultural center is a person interested in culture, meeting people and nature. In short, these individuals want to escape from the stress of the city but without leaving it.
Reformed state
The design of the building is based on the fact that an organic mass spreads through the stairwell and invades the rest of the rooms. The building has three floors: the ground floor with 303.53 m2 and where the main reception, the cafeteria area and the exhibition hall would be located. On the other hand, the first floor has 388.99 m2 and it contains one of the most important areas of the sociocultural center, which is the library, along with a small assembly hall. Finally, the second floor has 127.79 m2 and it would house the offices, where the staff that carry out the management of the center and an advisor would be.
The building has a free height on the ground floor of 4.63 m, on the first floor the height is 3.8 m and finally on the second floor the free height is 3.4 m.
